A Collection of Insect Portraits by Sam Droege

September 18, 2013 | in Animals

American researcher and scientist Sam Droege contributed to the study of insects of North America; bees in particular. In this post we offer to you a selection of his insect close-up portraits.

The members of the USGS Native Bee Inventory and Monitoring Program that studies bees of North America, as well as plants and insects that interact with them, created a mini studio where they captured more than a thousand pictures of insects. And Sam Droege is a part of this team of researchers. The photos are very clear and interesting.
