A Green Oasis in the Concrete Jungle of Singapore

August 5, 2013 | in Architecture

This project was designed and created by the FARM design studio. The project’s name is Wall House, and it’s located in the heart of one of the largest cities in Southeast Asia.

The house is completely filled with vegetation, including the roof. All the landscaping ideas are inspired from the classical Chinese garden. The combination of modern architecture and historic cultural traditions makes the Wall House if not a masterpiece then a very original design. The original openings in the floor and the ceiling allow vegetation to grow literally everywhere. The house is composed of two independent units, connected by a patio.
