American artist Lisa Nilsson creates whimsical works out of paper. The technique is already well-known and it’s called quilling. The feature of Lisa’s quilling is in making anatomical images out of paper.

Painstaking efforts of rolling a huge amount of paper rolls, gradually grows into something more. A copy of the anatomical slice of the human body could be an example. Beauty, almost instantly turns into something horrifing. Lisa Nilsson brought her attention to this type of art only in this century. Before the 2000th year the artist preferred to draw. Then there were first attempts at quilling, and now Lisa holds her own regular exhibitions.
