Art Wars: A New Look for Stormtrooper Helmets

October 17, 2013 | in Design

Art Wars is a project coordinated by Ben Moore with consultations from Andrew Sinsworth. The same Andrew, who developed the original stormtrooper helmet.

In this project were used original helmets made in 1976. That’s when they first appeared on the set, and then on the movie screens. Besides Ben Moore, other known artists joined the project. Such as Damien Hirst, David Bailey and others. There is no doubt that Star Wars is a great movie. And the stormtrooper helmet is one of the most striking attributes of it, constantly used in pop art. The Art Wars exhibition is displayed at the moment in the London gallery Saatchi.
