Photographer Caleb Charland created an unusual research photo project called Back to Light, which explores the possibility of generating electricity from ordinary objects.
The Back to Light photo project started nearly three years ago, when Caleb Charland created his first original version of a battery made from three hundred apples. Inspired by it, photographer created the familiar to many potato battery. Then he got the ball rolling: oranges, grapefruit, lemons, coins, vinegar and son on. In the future, Caleb plans on creating a hydroelectric power plant and some other usual projects.
