Banana Graffiti Art by Marta Grossi

October 22, 2013 | in Art

Italian designer Marta Grossi, now living in Hong Kong, is the author of an unusual series of drawings on bananas. She draws with a pencil or a pen on the banana peel, and then she eats the banana for breakfast.

Marta Grossi considers the surface of the banana a great canvas. She says that she eats every morning one banana. Therefore she has only one night to decorate it. In the morning she takes a picture of the banana on her iphone and eats it afterwards. The author does not care that these graffiti bananas are only temporary art, since she gives them a longer life by photographing them.
