The project of the architectural bureau Metropolis, on the Palabritas beach, Lima was commissioned more than two years ago. The house with a total area of 230 square meters, cost its owner $250 000.
The building itself is difficult to attribute to the classic bungalow type, but in terms of functionality it is so. The house is located in the first line of buildings from the beach, so you easily in a couple of minutes can get to the Pacific Ocean. The rounded shape of the building creates a perception of comfort and brings us back to the sixties of the last century. In that time this style was dominating in the architecture of Latin America. The house’s main colors are white and red. The kitchen, dining and living room are integrated with the terrace through sliding glass doors. Bedrooms and living room windows are giving to the residents a spectacular view of the ocean. Especially at sunset.
