Bird Nest Project by Sharon Beals

August 28, 2013 | in Photography

American photographer Sharon Beals for a long time now is collaborating with various research centers and museums of nature. One of her most ambitious projects is called Bird Nest.

Sharon Beals lived for most of her life in Seattle, but for the last few years, she’s been living and working in San Francisco. This project was created with the help of the California Academy of Sciences. For two centuries, scientists and researchers have collected these nests from all around the world to explore them and then put them in the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, with the support of Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology. The bird’s adapting ability is very impressive.
