Black Humor in Dran’s Street Art

December 29, 2012 | in Art

French street artist Dran had already earned the nickname French Banksy for his unusual sense of humor and the creation of works on important social issues.

Maybe Dran’s works don’t have highly artistic characteristics, but, given the theme of the paintings, not artistry is the main criterion for his work. We suggest you to slightly abstract and consider the project only in the context of ideologies and social problems. Dran believes that the presentation of ideas in the format of a child’s drawing is clear and understandable to anyone who, somehow, is connected with the community. As you know, every single one of us (except for sociopaths) interacts with the society in one way or another.
