There is a lake in New Zealand, from the surface of which you could’ve seen the underwater world on a depth of 80 meters. According to the scientists, the Rotomairewhenua or the Blue Lake is rightly considered the clearest lake in the world.
As the researchers say, the water of the lake looks almost as distilled because it is optically transparent. The Blue Lake is located in Nelson Lakes National Park, which is placed in the South Island of New Zealand. The color of the lake is blue because of a whole system of filtering of glacial water through all kinds of mountain rocks.
