His sculptures can be found in the open air and in the exhibition halls. Dale creates very vivid and memorable images with his glassblower skills. Quite often, he just completes the world with his works.
Dale Chihuly was born in 1941 in the town of Tacoma, Washington. Was introduced to glass while studying at the University of Washington, where he studied interior design. After graduation, he entered the University of Wisconsin, where just opened first glass program in the country. Then, there was another design school in Rhode Island. Here, Dale has developed its own training program and taught for about 10 years. He never stopped teaching and went to Venice, where he learned a lot at the glass factory in Venice. When he returned, the author created his own school. Dale’s work can be found in more than 200 exhibition halls of museums and art galleries around the world.
