Photographer Peter Steinhauer got interested, while staying in Hong Kong, in the appearance of bright colored pillars in the midst of the gray mass of skyscrapers. So, he created a series of photographs dedicated to them.
They aren’t actually just pillars. Before you are building sites. It is interesting that skyscrapers are covered in these cocoons in the process of building as well as dismantling. After shooting an impressive amount of successful photos, Peter Steinhauer decided to create a photo series called Cocoons. Author says he had seen similar technology in Japan, but it wasn’t used for buildings of such heights, which is really impressive.
