Curved Mini Houses by Torsten Ottesjo

May 30, 2013 | in Architecture

This project was designed by a Swedish designer and architect Torsten Ottesjo. Although the biggest of these houses has an area of 25 square meters, it has everything a person needs in it.

Of course, saying everything a person needs, we mean the minimum set. You won’t find fireplaces, crystal chandeliers and marble stairs in there. But, there is a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a hallway and a dining table. By the way, this is the main conception of Torsten Ottesjo’s project. He thinks that we are surrounding ourselves with too many unnecessary things. It may seem that the houses have a foundation, and are literally rooted to the ground, but they can be easily transported. The harmony to the project is added by the fact that the houses are made exclusively of wood.
