Edible Design by Sonia Rentsch

Australian designer and short film director from Melbourne has created several new series of works which are difficult to attribute to something specific. Some see in this fashion, the other see art.

We will not distinguish between these concepts and will define the work presented here, as creativity. Sonia Rentsch graduated from the RMIT University ten years ago, specialty Industrial Design. Since then, she worked for fashion shows around the world, but at some point stopped and decided to open her own studio. Works which we will show you are made in collaboration with the photographer Scott Newett. The first project, Dining Etiquette, is a crossing between table setting and dress code. The second, Balanced Existence, contains ideas made from edible items. And the third, Sweet Treats, imitates the desserts using nonedible details.
