British needlewoman Claire Moynihan lives in countryside, in the village of Hertfordshire. She creates original and pretty unusual 3D figures of insects and snails from felt.
In addition to felt, Claire Moynihan uses several different types of free-form embroidery. The artist received an education at an arts academy. Five years ago, she got a Bachelor degree in Applied Arts. After a series of insects is ready, Claire organizes them inside entomological boxes. If you look at them from a distance, they are incredibly similar to real insects.
