Euclid Residence in Seattle

November 7, 2012 | in Architecture

This project belongs to the architectural office Balance Associates Architects and it is located in the park area of Seattle, Washington, USA. It is a three-story house with living area of 279 square meters and the total area about 573 square meters.

The current value of the estate is around $1.5 million, and according to the realtors it is not the limit. The house is located on a quiet, dead end street in the local park Leschi. Frome the top floor of the house you can admire a spectacular view on the Lake Washington. Although the house is in the city, it is completely hidden between the trees. To make the house perfectly fit into the land shaft, it was divided into three parts: the lower level, middle level and upper level. The house has quite large windows and high ceilings, 3.6 meters. Most of the windows are located on the south and east sides of the house, providing the maximal amount of natural light. The gable roof with wide overhangs perfectly protects the house from rain. The interior is pretty simple, which is also a plus.
