Ferris Wheels at Slow Shutter Speed

August 25, 2013 | in Photography

The first Ferris wheel was build back in 1893, and was presented at the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, US. Its author was George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr.

It was kind of a response to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In our days, the Ferris wheel is an important attribute of almost every amusement park. Here is a selection of Ferris wheel photos taken at slow shutter speed all around the world.
