Foggy Landscapes in Brian Mashburn’s Oil Paintings

March 18, 2014 | in Illustration

At first, it seems that before you are watercolor paintings. That’s not true, though. Brian Mashburn paints with oil.

The main feature of his paintings is the fogginess that partially hides the panorama of abandoned cities. Often, in the foreground there’s a person or an animal. Brian Mashburn’s works are an artistic study of human migration, the destruction of the world and other geopolitical issues.
