Fractal Flowers by Silvia Cordedda

November 15, 2012 | in Art

Relatively new and original art form created by mathematical formulas is gaining more and more fans. To create this, there is no need of any pictures or photos. It is easier and harder at the same time.

Silvia Cordedda for the first time tried herself in fractal art only at the beginning of this year, but in this short amount of time she had already created a series of works, which can be described as non-existent flowers and other plants. To be clearer, the essence of fractal images created by mathematical formulas is: if we increase small objects, we will see in them the reiteration of the overall structure. And it can continue infinitely. Fractal art is not limited to images. This can be an animation, 2D and 3D-graphics, and even music.
