Funny Street Signs by Clet Abraham

February 5, 2013 | in Art

About two years ago, French artist Clet Abraham, whose father is a well-known writer, remarked that street signs aren’t very informative and started to think what can be done to remedy this situation.

Clet Abraham was born in France 46 years ago. He got his education in the Fine Arts School of Rennes. After several successful exhibitions, Clet moved to Rome, where he worked as an antique furniture restorer. Later, he moved to Florence, where he lives to this day. For this project, the artist uses stickers and a bicycle. He needs just 20 seconds to bring life into a street sign and then dart away. His works can be found in many European cities.
