Hashtag Skyscraper Planned for Seoul

November 2, 2012 | in Architecture

Danish architects from the international architectural company Bjarke Ingels Group developed a conceptual plan of large-scale residential complex which may appear in the near future in one of the districts of Seoul, South Korea.

We are talking about an international business center of Yongsan. The structure of the project imitates the well-known symbol “#”, which is called hashtag. The essence of the project is to build two towers with different heights (204 and 214 meters, respectively) which will be connected by two “bridges” on the altitude of 70 and 140 meters. These overpasses will have gardens opened to all residents. Of course there will be a library, a day care and other related infrastructure.
