Hyperrealistic Paintings by Robin Eley

July 6, 2013 | in Illustration

US-based artist, born in UK, Robin Eley is the author of a very detailed and realistic series of paintings, in which he tries to show some aspects of the modern people.

The series is called Idolatry, and its main purpose is to show how modern society has become dependent on various inanimate objects, behind which they’re trying to hide. Robin Eley migrated to Australia with his family at the age of three. When he was 19 year-old, he leaved Australia for Los Angeles, where, he thinks, will always be more opportunities for him. However, he does not forget the country he was born in, and regularly is holding exhibitions there.
