First of all, it is at least strange and unusual. Second of all, hyperrealism now is incredibly popular and it is pretty difficult to find or to create something new. Antonio Santin did just that.
The Spanish artist does not have specific preferences in the choice of materials or paints, whether it is acrylic or oil. The most of his works are in private collection, and only occasionally Antonio Santin manages to hold solo exhibitions. The carpets seem to hide something terrible, something like a result of a crime. All the paintings are created based on photographs made also by Antonio.
