Impositions by Gregory Scott

December 19, 2012 | in Photography

In some ways, the work of this British artist looks like Ben Geine’s. Gregory Scott work combines painting and photography. Particularly, series like this are called “Impositions.”

Combining two of the arts in a creative way, the author offers a whole new way to see and look at the scenes of the daily life. For Gregory Scott, such a project is an experimental attempt to contrast reality and fantasy, expressing mixed feelings: “Instead of using the frayed by time stereotype of the photography, I use fresh ideas that let us believe that the viewer fantasy is inexhaustible.”
