April 15, 2015 | in Art

Oakland-based American artist Gabriel Schama create very complex wooden mandalas composed of mahogany plywood cut with a laser.

Each new process of creating a mandala begins with author’s work at the computer. Schama designs his future project in a graphical editor, then sends the results for laser cutting. After the mandala is put together, it is sanded and varnished.
