Mountain Slope Carved into Encyclopedia Britannica by Guy Laramée

January 13, 2014 | in Art

Book sculptor Guy Laramée decided in an unusual way to pay tribute to the printed version of the Encyclopedia Britannica.

All of its 24 volumes were used by Guy in his project entitled Adieu. Using his skill, he carved from this popular source of information an amazingly realistic mountain slope. He got inspired by his travel to the mountainous regions of Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
