New Zealand-based photographer Chris Gin became interested in photography relatively not long ago. Five years ago, he didn’t have much idea of photography, and today he is holding workshops on landscape photography in his native Oakland.
Chris Gin is preparing very thoroughly for each field trip, using all available methods on the Internet, starting with Google maps and ending with the banal weather forecasts. Chris says that in New Zealand is very important to choose the right time for shooting depending on the seasonality of tourism. Once the place and date are chosen, Chris makes some test photos in the most bright time of the day, and then he analyzes them in order to identify the place and the daytime for the actual shooting. In this selection of photos, you will see the North and South islands of his amazing country.
