Old Retired Surfboars Turned into Artworks by Jarryn Dower

October 9, 2014 | in Art

Australian artist Jarryn Dower combines two of his main hobbies—painting and surfing. He paints boards that won’t be used otherwise. The author calls them retired.

To create such works Jarryn Dower uses a special stippling technique. He rarely paints in color, most of his works are monochrome. Currently this is just a hobby for Jarryn, as he spends the most part of his time studying at one of the Australian universities, and does not have much time for his hobby.
