The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania covers an area of almost 15,000 square kilometers. This unique park is included into the UNESCO World Heritage List, and is the most famous national park of the country.
One of the features of the Serengeti is the annual migration of over a million of wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras. Besides that, the National Park is a shelter for about three million large animals. Three and a half thousand of this number are lions. The photographer Nick Nichols and the operator Nathan Williamson decided to focus on the life of these very animals, and for two years, they created an impressive series of photographs entitled “Serengeti Lions”.
