Ufogel: Compact House with Views of the Alps

December 30, 2013 | in Architecture

Austrian architect and designer, Peter Jungmann is the author of this pretty nice house with a total area of 45 square meters. Its original name contains two words in one.

The words are “UFO” and “vogel”, which is translated from German as “bird”. The house is propped on stilts and has the function of a cabin for weekends. Despite its minimalist style, the house has all the traditional amenities. A sufficient number of windows are allowing a good amount of natural light to illuminate any part of the house without compromising any privacy. The larch wood paneling creates a feeling of comfort and warmth.
